25 May 2004 Press Release Joburg official suspended The CEO of the City of Johannesburg director of Revenue Mr Keith Sendwe, has been placed on suspension pending an enquiry into non-performance and other irregularities. He has been on leave and his leave expired last Friday. Mr Roland Hunter, Executive Director of the Finance Department, has agreed to accept the additional responsibility of acting CEO of Revenue while continuing with his other responsibilities. City Manager, Pascal Moloi, said the deployment of Mr Hunter to take up the post of acting RSSC CEO, will bring the credibility, responsibility and necessary authority that all stakeholders need to ensure success. Mr Hunter has extensive experience in this area of work.
