                           MEDIA TOUR GOES EAST

The media is reminded of a free visit to the JC Dumani Nevirapine test site
in Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg.

The  clinic  is  one  of  the  centres  launched  by the Gauteng Provincial
government  last  year to provide drugs to HIV positive pregnant mothers as
part  of  the  National  programme  of  the  prevention  of Mother to Child
transmission.  Gauteng  Health  MEC,  Dr Gwen Ramokgopa will brief both the
local and international media on progress at the clinic.

Transport  will  be  provided  for  journalist  covering  World  Summit  on
Sustainable Development and will leave from Ubuntu Village, in North Street
close  to  gate  3 at 9am. Those who wish to use their own transport should
phone Dr Ramokgopa's spokesperson, Mr Simon Zwane on 082 551 9892.
