MEDIA RELEASE 25 October 2006 DELAYS IN PIKITUP REFUSE COLLECTION Pikitup would like to notify the residents of Johannesburg of the partial interruption in service delivery due to unforeseen operational issues. As a result, daily refuse collection schedules have been affected in some areas of the city. Residents are kindly requested to place their bins out for collection on their normal collection day and leave them out until they are collected. Should the situation warrant it, Pikitup will work on the weekend in order to complete the week's cycle. Pikitup would like to apologise to the affected residents for any inconvenience caused by the interruption in service delivery.
