A hoax email is making its rounds claiming that tap water in Johannesburg has been contaminated. THIS IS NOT TRUE. TAP WATER IN JOHANNESBURG HAS BEEN AND IS SAFE FOR CONSUMPTION DIRECTLY FROM THE TAP. Please ignore this email as we suspect that it has its origins with individuals or parties trying to encourage residents to buy water filtration devices.
