26 August, 2005 Press Release MEDIA ALERT Hendrik Verwoerd Drive Road Works The Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) wishes to alert the road users that due to a burst pipe at Hendrik Verwoed Drive next to old Council Offices, the Johannesburg Water is currently attending to the burst main. Work sites will be properly barricaded to ensure safety in the area. The JRA will only be able to attend to road repairs once the burst main has been fixed. Traffic will be disrupted as 2 lanes will be not accessible to traffic and motorists are requested to plan ahead or use alternative routes.
