DOMESTIC workers and employers are invited to a that will focus on various pertinent issues, such as wages, contracts, the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) and working hours.

Being held at the Glenanda Library, the workshop is an initiative of Region F's library services unit and will be facilitated by the Department of Labour.

"The purpose of the workshop is to enlighten domestic workers on their rights, which they might not be aware of," said the organisers.

It is on Saturday, 24 November from 2pm until 4pm at the Glenanda Library in Glenanda, in southwestern Joburg.
